Candidate Student
The pre-registration and departure procedures of the students from Turkey are carried out by the Student Affairs Unit under the Presidency of the Board of Trustees. The Student Affairs Unit operating under the Rectorate of the University carries out the official affairs and procedures of students from Turkey, Turkic States and Related Communities. At the same time, it provides contact with the official institutions and organisations in their countries, especially with the families of our students.
Formal education consists of two semesters as a year and covers a period of 30 weeks for all classes, except for graduation classes. The duration of education differs according to the departments.
Our education and training system, which is based on the semester method and credit course passing, is carried out in a student-centred academic environment.
Formal education in our university is carried out as tuition-free and scholarship (grant), tuition-free (kvota) and paid. Students' scholarships continue or are cancelled according to their grade point averages at the end of the semester.
Education for Turkish students is tuition-free. Students from outside the Republic of Kazakhstan who are admitted to formal education with free tuition and scholarships, if they fail to fulfil the conditions specified in the regulations, lose their scholarship rights, but do not pay tuition fees.
