Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Turkey and other countries who have graduated from high school and equivalent schools have the right to study at our university.
In accordance with the Statute of our university, the students consist of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Turkey, other Turkic Republics and members of Turkic and Related Communities.
Selection, admission and placement of students from Turkey are carried out according to the central examination conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) according to the score types foreseen for the relevant departments.
Students who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey, regardless of the department in which they are placed, are required to study a one-year preparatory class and must be successful. Students who fail the preparatory class are dismissed from the University. Except for the preparatory class, students who study and fail in the upper grades continue their education free of charge, but lose their scholarship rights. In addition, students' scholarships continue or are cancelled according to their grades at the end of the semester.
Students who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey are provided with transport support once a year and scholarships are awarded according to their success. Students cover their own accommodation and personal expenses. Following the completion of the passport and visa procedures of new students from Turkey who are entitled to study at our University, their transportation to Kentav is coordinated by the Presidency of the Board of Trustees.
