    Citizens of Other Countries

    Our university aims to educate students from Turkic-speaking States and Communities under one roof; to raise individuals who have the power of free and scientific thought, modern knowledge and skills, a sense of social responsibility, respect for human rights, tolerance, adherence to national and moral values, questioning, researching, entrepreneurial, democratic and secular state principles, and a sense of history and identity; and to contribute to science and society through research and development activities.

    Admission of Students from the Turkic World

    Students from Turkic Republics and Turkic and Related Communities are selected by the Rectorate. Online applications are evaluated according to the criteria determined by the commission established by the Rectorate and students are selected.

     In the academic year, 250 students from Turkic Republics and Related Communities are accepted to the undergraduate programmes of our university. Among the students to be admitted, 200 students are given full scholarship (education support scholarship by the Republics of Turkey and Kazakhstan and travel fees to and from the students' countries once a year) and 50 students are given Turkey Quota.  Students cover their own accommodation and personal expenses.

    Students from Turkic States and Related Communities receive double scholarships from both Kazakhstan and Turkey. Dormitory is a priority for these students and transportation fee support is provided twice a year for arrival and return during their education period in an amount determined according to the countries.

    Admission of students from other countries is carried out in accordance with the quotas divided according to the Turkish States and Related Communities approved at the Board of Trustees Meeting. Announcements are made in 4 languages for student admission in March. The number of applications for this year is 431.

                According to the applications made, face-to-face exams are held with candidates from nearby regions. Candidates in other regions are also audited via zoom in terms of exam reliability with the online test module.
