    The preliminary registrations of the candidates placed in our university by OSYM are made on the dates announced by the Presidency of the Board of Trustees via e-government or at the Presidency of the Board of Trustees in Ankara.

    Documents / Procedures Required for Registration
    - Student information form,
    - YKS Placement Result Certificate,
    - 1 4.5 x 6 cm photograph (photographs must have been taken within the last six months and must be taken from the front in a way that can easily identify the candidate),
    - Photocopy of identity card,
    - Original or recent graduation certificate and one photocopy of the school diploma,
    - Photocopy of passport (pages with picture and identity information),
    - For male candidates who have reached the age of military service, a document from the relevant military service branch stating that "There is no inconvenience in terms of military service obligation in enrolling in a faculty or college"; a photocopy of the demobilisation certificate for those who have done their military service.

    Health Report: In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students enrolled in our University must obtain a health report from our University hospital that they do not have any contagious diseases when they go to Kazakhstan.  A health report is not required for pre-registration.

    (*) Passport Procedures
    Candidates who are placed in our university must have a passport valid for at least 2 (two) years in order to register and obtain a visa.

    Since passport procedures will take time, candidates who prefer our university should apply for a passport on time to the Provincial or District Population Directorate in order not to miss the registration dates.

    Visa Procedures for Kazakhstan
    After you register at the Ankara Liaison Office of the Presidency of the Board of Trustees Formal Education Student Affairs, your visa invitation procedures will be initiated collectively by our Presidency. After your visa invitation is issued, it will be sent to you via e-mail. You must apply in person to the Consular Section of the Kazakhstan Embassy in Ankara within 3 (three) working days at the latest after your invitation is issued. The student visa is issued for one year and it is the student's own responsibility to obtain an entry-exit visa every year and to follow the visa period.

    First Departure Procedures to Kazakhstan
    The first departure of the enrolled students to the University is organised by the Chairmanship of the Board of Trustees, probably in September, depending on the completion of visa and ticket procedures, accompanied by a staff member. Students can also travel individually if they wish. Travelling between Istanbul and Turkestan is by plane. The departure transport fee is paid at the beginning of the academic year and the arrival transport fee is paid at the end of the academic year by the Rectorate of the University.

    Documents required to obtain a Kazakhstan study visa:
    1. Passport (passport must be at least 2 years old as of the date of application);
    2. One photograph (3x4) (the photograph must have been taken within the last six months, from the front, with a clear head, in a way that can easily identify the candidate)
    3. The applicant is required to fill in a visa application form;
    4. Passport refunds for visa applicants are normally made 1 week after the date of application.
